That sounds like a lot, 584 Sketches. I'm sure there are many more than that in my Scavenger Hunting days. I would guess I averaged 8 sketches per Hunt. Whew, makes me tired to think about it.

Number 5, coffee pot
Number 6, any historical traditional cloth - my purse which is cloth from Chimayo, New Mexico. Both historical and traditional. The purse is sort of square and it is squashed down, I did not do it justice.

I have a woven purse from Chimayo. My mom bought it years ago when she and Dad went on an excursion to Chimayo- and eat.
ReplyDeleteBag Blog, I got mine about 4 years ago. I haven't used it much as it is one big pocket. Would be nice if it had a spot for the phone and keys. The weaving pieces from there are so beautiful. And yes, the restaurant and B&B in Chimayo is amazing. We usually go for our birthdays when we leave Angel Fire.
ReplyDeleteLove the sketch of the coffee pot...wonderful details...nice work as always, Jo.
ReplyDeletehmuxo, thank you. I wonder if we like coffee pots and cups because we like coffee? I'm more a coffee drinker than tea.
ReplyDeleteJo, I see you are up in Angel Fire? Such a marvelous place.
ReplyDeleteLove your sketches.
Nice that you had a grouping of coffee pots to sketch. Visited Chimayo years ago but never did any shopping there.
ReplyDeleteJoan, there were even more coffee pots to the side behind the boxes of donuts. I was surprised to see so many. Chimayo is a special place, like going back 100 years....
ReplyDeleteJulie, sorry I missed your comment somehow. We are not in Angel Fire until July. Really looking forward to it. It has been our summer for about 7 years, now. We spent a month in Las Cruces about 10 years ago. It was fun, too.
