I like the poinsettias you are talking about, haven't seen them here this year.Jo Castillohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00411430042547033972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29792638.post-70772816906590522552017-12-20T16:46:15.979-06:002017-12-20T16:46:15.979-06:00I think we are just used to seeing small poinsetti...I think we are just used to seeing small poinsettia plants here. My plein air group goes to the Bayport Flower House every year as our last outing for the year. They have an amazing greenhouse filled with poinsettias, including some trees. Of course they aren't 50 feet tall, but the branches are twined together and the colorful leaves make a beautiful display. It must be gorgeous to see them out in nature that way.Joan Tavolotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11290923567339587417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29792638.post-11066575993507143922017-12-19T18:39:09.893-06:002017-12-19T18:39:09.893-06:00Bag Blog, maybe the poinsettias are not dead after...Bag Blog, maybe the poinsettias are not dead after freezing. It used to get pretty cold in Cochabamba. We had one in the yard in Lima, Peru, that got about 20 feet tall, it didn't turn red while we lived in the house. It was very leafy, though. A friend of mine gave me some sort of plant from her yard. Inside the pot she gave also had some sort of poinsettia type plant. I had them growing every where they were not suppose to grow. I didn't know they would make a tree. How interesting! Bag Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01885412195900280096noreply@blogger.com
