You can give them a touch up if they get banged around.
Framing them all the same, or similarly, gives a cohesive look to a display, and takes the emphasis off the frames and puts it on the art.
Find out where people shop for frames in that location, be it a Walmart of a grocery, and see what they have in stock. That way you can direct buyers to a frame if they don't like the one you picked.

Framing...the bane of the artists existence :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29792638.post-90292029414526047852008-03-14T09:20:00.000-05:002008-03-14T09:20:00.000-05:00Jo: I think this is a beautiful paiting and I like...Jo: I think this is a beautiful paiting and I like the details when you look at it closely. As to frame...I like the acrylic sunset and church. As to frames, I'm not much help. I tend to frame my rather cheaply with simple wood or gold frames thinking that the buyer can replace the frame if he/she wants. That way, they are paying for the painting and not having to pay for expensive frames. I guess that takes us back to the "cost of a painting" discussion.Bag Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01885412195900280096noreply@blogger.com
