One of the items on the Hunt is "room or favorite place". I chose my chair and footstool. No better place to sit and sketch with my feet up. It was too early for the glass of wine on the side table. I've never liked recliners so this chair is my favorite.

This sketch is in the ArtStreet sketchbook with an Ohuhu 03 pen. You can see through the porch to the trees. The porch is a good place to sketch, too. We need to put the rug and chairs back now the pollen has gone. It was too cool to sit out there in the mornings lately anyway. Time now though.

ReplyDeleteYour chair and stool sketch is great - looks so comfy. I don't really like a recliner, but I have trouble keeping a stool close enough for my short legs to reach.
ReplyDeletebag blog, I like the footstool, too. I pull it all the way to the chair and put my calves on the stool and it stays pretty well. My porch chair is the same. It does recline but I don't recline it.
