Sour Grapes!

Sour grapes!  I would not have had a fruit to sketch for the list except the grapes are sour and not as easy to munch on.  It is irritating to buy grapes and they are not good, yet we are asked not to try one.  I did sneak one to try and it was pretty good.  Then I picked up a smaller bag and when we got home ..... sour.  Also when they come in bags, we have to buy more than we might otherwise.

Number 2, fruit - grapes cut in clumps so we eat them easier.  Not as pretty a shape when cut apart.  Sketched in the big book with a Prismacolor 03, with colored pencil added.

    Very nice still life, Jo. I love painting grapes and of course, eating the reference is even better.

    hmuxo, yep eating models is great. These are so tart .. maybe add salt and tequila.

    I hate that about fruit...very hard to tell what is going to be good. Love the sketches! You are in a rhythm. ♥️

    Rose, so true on most fruit. Thank you on my rhythm. It is about the only think in sync right now. We are doing well, though. I like your recent work "A LOT". Hugs.
