Sometimes I have nothing to say. Pretty rare for me.
I sketched in the big book with a Prismacolor 03, quick and freehand as usual.

Number 1, fruit
Number 2, snack - that is a container of yogurt ... really.
Number 3, seasoning - part of a garlic pod
You can see the shadow and some ink spots from the other side of the page. It is the ink from the Pilot fountain pen. Not happy with that, although I like the feel of the real pen.

I like your hatching on these. Nice!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joan. I was planning to do the hatching with just the straight lines, but I don't have the patience to put them carefully the same distance apart, etc. I was going to do them with no outline lines but they were a bit vague. Ha. Good to do something different though. Hope to try a landscape. Will be hard not to curly up the tree leaves.
ReplyDeletenice line work :)

Jennifer Rose, Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteI keep buying Precision #5 pens. I buy them at Walmart so Toby doesn't realize I am buying more pens. I bought a pack of four colored Precision 5 pens and took them to church. The grandboy was just as excited as I was over these pens.
ReplyDeleteBag Blog, sounds like I should look into those Precision Pens. Your grandboy sketches soooo well. Neat you can sketch together.
