The travel deadline is looming but I can procrastinate with the best of them. Sketching was a sure way to keep from packing my art stuff. I sketched in the big coffee table book with a Prismacolor 08 pen.
First for the Southwest Forum Monthly Challenge for July, from a photo provided by Kay. It would be nice to do a painting for that group, but no time to paint today.

Number 1, animal - sub animal crackers. Gene got them at Trader Joe's. The container is too small or the cookies are too big, take your choice.
Number 2, taste neutral - as opposed to salty or sweet, a glass of milk
It was a beautiful morning in our neighborhood.
There is a flag on the pole in the middle, but no breeze. Pretty light coming through, it had rained a little earlier.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.
