Puddles Pastel

The painting, Puddles, was accepted to the Austin Pastel Annual Juried Show, Celebrate Pastels.

This is our first time to use the museum acrylic.  It is about the same price as museum glass but seems to be much easier to work with.  It is lighter, has UV protection, more durable and less likely to be scratched.  Hobby Lobby does not carry this so had to order.  I ordered from Frame Destination

They are a family owned business and very helpful and almost local in Garland, Texas.  They give discounts to art groups.  Something to think about.
