What's Happening in Bastrop and 50% Off Sale (of Sorts)

Don't forget the Frist Friday Art Walk, December 6. I will be at Baxters on Main, 919 Main Street, downtown Historic Bastrop, Texas, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. I will have paintings, a few gifts and calendars for sale. I always have a door prize! Baxters is a great place to eat and it will be nice and cozy in there. More information about First Friday here http://jocastilloart.com/exhibits.html

As a special part of the evening I decided to do something another artist I like to follow is doing. Armand Carbrera has this offer on his paintings.  If you buy a painting Friday night I will donate 50% of the price to the charity of your choice.  You can make the checks half to me and half to your charity and I will send it in so you can benefit on your income tax.

A few of my paintings that will be at First Friday:

Cutting Up, Oil on wrapped canvas - $345.00
Desert Snow, Pastel on Colourfix Paper - $345.00

Desert Snow Study, Pastel on Pastelbord - $50.00

Geraniums, Pastel on Pastelbord - $50.00

Daybreak Pines, Pastel on U-Art paper - $395.00

Twighlight Pines, Pastel on Pastelbord - $425.00
Hope to see you there!

Joan, thank you. I have really worked on painting trees! Helps on the landscapes. :) Bastrop is a nice town and does have a variety of things to do.

All the paintings look great. I hope the art walk goes well. It is cold, icy, and a bit of snow here.

Bag Blog, thank you. It is about 34 here, too, and wet. Not bad, our cousin in Miles City, Montana, is at -24! Yikes!
